Loaded Lady Dragons take first test flight

LATHROP — Fans of the Cameron High School Lady Dragon Volleyball Team discovered they have plenty to look forward to this season at Tuesday's Lathrop Summer League opener. 

With a roster loaded with senior talent, including all-state outside hitter Avery McVicker, the Lady Dragons gave fans a sneak peak at of what's ahead altering going 1-0-2 against Bishop LeBlond, East Buchanan and St. Joseph Christian. 

"I'm pleasantly surprised. This is the first time I've seen them play," Cameron coach Addy Floyd said. "... I'm really excited. I have a lot of seniors, but I also have a lot of underclassmen that are doing really well and stepping up to the plate."
