Pattonsburg downs Lady Dragons

The Cameron Lady Dragons fell to 0-2 for the season following a 53-34 loss to Pattonsburg at the CHS gym Tuesday night.

The Lady Panthers held a 21-15 lead at halftime and stretched their advantage to 36-22 after the third quarter.

Eastin McDowell led the Lady Dragons with 11 points. Sydney Nichols and Lexi Smith scored six points apiece. Hannah Robinson had five points and Mallory Bashor, Kylie Campbell and Brianna O’Grady scored two points each.

Haleigh Plymell scored a game-high 16 points for Pattonsburg while Katie Warford and Madi Waterbury had 12 points each.

Cameron returns to action Thursday when they visit Richmond.
