The team traveled on Wednesday, April 27 to participate in the MEC Tournament in St. Joseph.

Senior Gage Zeit and David Curtis defeated Savannah 10-2, acquiring a third place doubles finish. Andrew Pratt finished the day with a 2-2 record, tying up his last match at 8-8, sending the match into a tiebreaker mode, and falling 7-5.

“Overall a decent week.” Head Coach Richard Berry said, describing the Dragons’ performances. “Gage and David had a great showing at the MEC tournament with their 3rd place finish.  We have continued to see improvement from everyone as the season has gone on and looking for the boys to be playing their best tennis in a couple weeks at districts.”
