Wrestlers place fourth at Crossroads Duals
The Cameron wrestling team came in fourth place at the Crossroads Dual tournament on Saturday at CHS.
The Dragons won their first three matches in their pool, defeating Kirksville, 62-18, Clinton, 56-21, and Shenandoah, 57-18. Olathe North won the pool with a 37-36 victory over CHS, advancing to the championship dual. Cameron fell to Mexico, 36-33, in the third place match.
Millard South of Omaha, Nebraska won the tournament title with a 56-21 win against Olathe North.
The Dragons dual match record now stands 13-2. CHS returns to action Jan. 13 when they travel to Kansas City, Kansas to take on Hogan Prep and the host Golden Bears.
